Welcome to Sutton Naturopathic Health Center
My intention is to provide holistic, individualized therapies for any and all conditions. I have 18 years of experience working as a physical therapist, and have been working as a naturopathic doctor since 1999. My own health issues led me to treatment of exercise induced asthma and eczema. Western medical care was unsuccessful at treatment. I sought care with a holistic medical doctor who helped start treatment and later with a chiropractor and naturopathic doctor who helped me reach my own wellness and renewed vitality. I entered naturopathic medical school to learn these therapies and diagnostic methods in order to help others achieve their health goals.
I attended Southwest College Of Naturopathic medicine, a four-year, graduate-level naturopathic school with emphasis on holistic and nontoxic approaches to therapy and a strong emphasis on disease prevention and optimizing wellness. In addition to the naturpathic curriculum, a naturopathic doctor is required to complete four years of training in clinical nutrition, acupuncture, homeopathic medicine, botanical medicine, psychology, and counseling (to encourage people to make lifestyle changes in support of their personal health). I took rigorous professional board exams form Arizona and Vermont, and I am currently licensed through Vermont and registered in Colorado.
